Women In Business Spotlight: KenDreeka Carrington, Owner of Facial Xpressions

KenDreeka Carrington is the owner and operator of Facial Xpressions, a premier permanent makeup clinic that specializes in microblading, skincare, lip lightening services, and other beauty needs. From working with top names such as Tyler Perry and Kim Pothier, Kendreeka’s superior services have landed her the honorary title of “The Brow Savoir”. KenDreeka’s passion for permanent makeup allows her to help other women and men feel confident about themselves. She believes that the people that she comes into contact with daily should feel that they are naturally beautiful, the way God saw fit for them to be, and they should enjoy enhancing such magnificent God-given assets.

Hustle and Soul Magazine got an exclusive interview with KenDreeka.

In what ways do you use your business platform to make an impact on the world?

KenDreeka: I am fully aware of the platform that I possess and I strive to use it to its full potential every chance that I get. I feel like it is not only my responsibility to provide great services, but I am also constantly looking to educate others about the many services that are not regularly spoken or known about. Due to my versatile skills with both bold or natural brows, I’ve become professionally known as “The Brow Savior”. My daily motto is Saving lives…one brow at a time!

From your perspective, what defines beauty?

KenDreeka: There used to be a saying that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” when in reality, beauty should never be defined as how one person perceives someone else to look. Beauty is anytime anyone embraces their uniqueness in a way that allows them to be who they are, which in turn, gives others permission to show their uniqueness as well.

Please tell us how you got the name “The Brow Savoir”?

KenDreeka: It initially started as a joke when I casually made a Facebook post in 2017 and ended it with “I am now your BROW SAVIOR”. It started picking up traction when my clients would tag #browsavior online whenever they’d share images of my work. Since then, my community and even other artists located, nationally, and globally have started to identify me as THE BROW SAVIOR.

Are there any other businesses, projects, or endeavors you are currently involved with?

KenDreeka: The launching of my skincare line, SKIN BY KABREEK, will be released in the last quarter of 2021.

How would a client feel after leaving Facial Xpressions?

KenDreeka: After leaving Facial Xpressions, complete relaxation and calmness are what most clients express that they feel. Most are taken away by our tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. This leads most clients to share our establishment with friends and family. Ultimately, our goal is for every client to leave our establishment feeling like the most beautiful versions of themselves.
