The Authors World, Founded by Michael Pellegrino Soon To Take The Literary World By Storm
The Author’s World is the next Facebook, Amazon, TikTok all rolled into one. Currently in the process of creating a multilevel platform that has never been done before. It is really fitting for today’s climate. The Authors World will impact the world at that magnitude. It’s absolutely the time and space for it to unfold.
Michael Pellegrino, voting member of the Recording Academy is set to launch The Authors World with business partner Sherry D’Agostino. Michael is best known for being a highly respected, accomplished entertainment agent to Ice-T, Treach, and many more. He is poised to become the next billionaire with the launch of the Authors World.

How did The Authors World.com begin and how has the journey been from the start to its launch?
Michael: Wow, this question really makes me reflect on so many things. First off it all started in 2005 — I have been following the success of a company called Amazon (lol). I was already very well versed in the literary world and I was fascinated with what Amazon had done for the world of bookselling and then this other company launched called Facebook. A year later I started to outline a concept to develop a website that would change the literary world. I thought for weeks about all the things that I wanted the site to focus on and the many things I felt were missing in the literary world.
As I started to develop the concept everyone was asking me what I was going to call the concept and the website and that’s when I came up with the name The Authors World. The name was right there in front of me, and when people asked me why call it The Authors World I couldn’t stop talking. But the basic reason for calling it The Authors World was I wanted to build a social media site that would bring the readers and the authors together by creating a platform that allows the readers to understand what it takes to be an author and I wanted the authors to have a platform that would bring them closer to their readers. The overall idea was to build a social media site that was designed to build a community for everyone who loves the written word and for everyone to have a voice.
Quite frankly it has been an incredible journey so far and it has been a nonstop learning experience. I have made so many mistakes along the way creating The Authors World in the beginning, but each mistake has made me stronger and more knowledgeable. I truly believe that if you really want to make a true impact on the world and be known as a game-changer you must believe in yourself and your vision. When creating something that will change the landscape of an industry as big as the literary world you are confronted with many obstacles. It’s these moments of difficulty that define you as a true creator and an entrepreneur.
What can we expect?
Michael: The Authors World, theauthorsworld.com, will definitely revolutionize the literary world. It has been a long journey developing our concept but it has been worth the wait. As the world has changed dramatically we have taken the time to take those changes and adapt them into our platform. We have evolved into an even more highly sophisticated media platform for the literary industry. We will be launching our weekly podcast called The Authors World Podcast theauthorsworldpodcast.com which will feature authors from all over the world plus we have been developing our children’s division which we are extremely excited about. The Authors World will be unveiling some of the most exciting concepts to ever be introduced to the literary community.
What challenges have occurred personally and professionally that you had to overcome to get to this point?
Michael: I have unfortunately experienced several personal challenges on my journey while creating The Authors World. I am a very private person when it comes to my personal life and I have never publicly spoken about my private life but I feel that my battle with some serious health problems will inspire others that no matter what challenges you may face don’t ever give up on yourself and your dreams to make your visions come true. During my journey I have been plagued with health issues, over the last 10 years I have had four major back surgeries and the last one did not go well and several years ago I was diagnosed with cancer.
Right after that, I suffered a heart attack which forced me to have several stents put into my heart. If that wasn’t bad enough over the last few years I have had multiple blood clots and I have had Covid twice. I have been a medical nightmare but through it all I have never given up. There have been moments when I felt defeated and wasn’t sure what would happen to me, but I never gave up and kept fighting.
As for my professional battles, it has been a wild ride creating The Authors World. I have faced countless coding challenges and have been sidelined dozens of times because of my health issues but no matter what I have always believed in what I was creating and I know that my vision of what I am creating will be embraced by the literary world.
What impact do you want to make on the lives of Authors?
Michael: The ultimate goal is to create a global community for all authors and readers to be able to connect with each other. One of the biggest things I hope to accomplish is to give authors a new platform for their voice to be heard. This includes the talented new authors of the world that haven’t been truly successful yet. There are so many talented writers in the world but the old system in the literary world has not granted these incredible authors to have a voice or for their work to be read.
The Authors World will give the new generation of authors the opportunity to show the world what they have to offer. At the same time, we will give established authors and publishers the opportunity to showcase their works on a social media platform that allows them to reach out to a wider audience and to connect on a more intimate level with the readers.
Who would you like to thank for being part of The Authors World family?
Michael: I have an incredible and amazing core of a team that has stuck with me from the very beginning and who has never once given up on my vision for creating The Authors World. Words alone could never express how blessed I am to have such wonderful people believe in my vision. In 2019 money was tight and instead of putting everything on hold, my key team took stock options in place of their paychecks. I was speechless by the sacrifice they were willing to take to help make The Authors World a reality.
I would just like to say thank you for your loyalty and believing in me. I think of everyone at The Authors World team as family and I look forward to continuing our journey together with all of them and making history.
How do you feel about being called the next big billionaire?
Michael: Yes, I have heard the rumors and all I can say is that it’s very humbling and exciting. I hope the prediction is true (lol).
What else can we be on the lookout for from the renowned Michael Pellegrino?
Michael: Obviously, the launching of the long-awaited The Authors World and the website. Also, all of its other divisions like The Authors World Podcast and of course the children’s division. The children’s division is headed up by an amazing executive, Sherry D’Agostino, and we expect amazing projects to launch from her and her team.
Second, our production company AMA STUDIOS has several major projects that are ready to go into production. We currently have two TV shows and two feature films that we will be announcing very soon. Last but not least we have a major tour we are putting together for the legendary comedian Mike Marino. The name of the tour is called Make America Italian Again featuring Mike Marino.
His witty comedy writing and his bold performance brings an amazing look at politics and pokes fun at how the country could run if he was in charge. It’s much needed for times like these, and I am excited to bring the country his campaign, and the world his undeniable incredible comedy genius.
