Rapper D Chase Announces Debut EP “SILENT NOISE”

Rapper, D Chase is set to release his debut EP “Silent Noise” on February 26th.   From the islands of Trinidad and Tobago, a controversial upbringing in Ottawa to life in Toronto,  D Chase has finally landed to tell his story, unapologetically.  Following the hit single “Summertime Ting” the rapper has been busy working on the release of “Silent Noise.”   The Toronto rapper recently took control of his music, releasing it under his own Triple L Music Group.  Chase has always known, talent is first but being aware of the business of your craft is as important as the music itself.  “Knowledge keeps the journey clear.”

D Chase’s past single releases “Till I’m Rich,” “Overdue,” a special release with DJ Holiday, “Atypical” and “Summertime Ting,” were all leading up to “Silent Noise.”   Chase’s debut EP is ‘home’ to the core and the truth of the artist.  Putting past troubles behind him, D Chase has been able to resurrect and soar.

D Chase, like all artist/ performers in these limiting times, looks forward to being back on stage and in front of his fans. Chase has opened for Rick Ross, Fabolous, T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, Juelz Santana, Mavado and more.  The Toronto rapper realizes the importance of staying connected to your fans.  Putting out new music remains the artist’s focus.

This is the time for “Silent Noise” …. February 26th.

                             “The storm has arrived.”

Tammy Reese: What do you love most about being a music artist?

D Chase: My favorite thing about being an artist is being able to express my feelings and my struggle through life.

Tammy Reese: Describe your music in 3 words?

D Chase: Versatile, intimate, expressive

Tammy Reese: How has your creative process been like during the pandemic ?

D Chase: Pandemic hasn’t changed anything for me it’s business as usual. If anything, maybe the ability to focus more.

Tammy Reese: You have opened up for some notable Celebrity music artists. Please tell us about some of those experiences?

D Chase: Those opening opportunities is what molded me at a young age as an artist and as a person knowing what I want in life. Touching the stage is entering a different element not all get to experience. It’s a natural high. Knowing that your warming up that stage for current leaders of the industry was surreal.

Tammy Reese: Please tell us about Silent Noise?

D Chase: Silent Noise is my debut EP to the world. I have been making music for 15 years, but it’s always been mixtapes and singles, and the marketing level was never really taken to the level it should of.

I always felt like the underdog being in Ottawa and Toronto and that was fuel to the fire. That’s where the title of the EP comes from. It’s time for the silent guys in the back to make noise. I’m that guy.

Tammy Reese: What else are you currently working on?

D Chase: Musically I have a lot on my plate at the moment. I don’t want to give away too much but just know this EP is just the “Toe in the water”. I am also 80% complete a follow-up mixtape and have some bug budget visuals to accompany the songs that I feel need visuals. I also plan to start working on my debut LP (full album) later this year.

Tammy Reese: What was the last song you had at max volume?

D Chase: The last song I had at max volume is some unreleased heat I got coming later this year.

Tammy Reese: What are some of your own favorite songs? Why?
I can’t say a favorite I have. I’ve recorded over 200 songs in my life I have many favorites. I know my biggest fan favorite is “Till I’m Rich”

Tammy Reese: What have been some memorable moments in your career so far?

D Chase: I have many memorable moments being recoding for 15+ years. One of my favorite recent moments was flying to Jamaica to shoot my “Give Thanks” video.

Seeing all the kids living with nothing and having no stress in the world was a moving experience.

Tammy Reese: What are you looking forward to?

D Chase: I’m looking forward to getting back on the stage and on the road travelling and spreading my brand.

Tammy Reese: What advice would you have for aspiring music artists?

D Chase: My advice for all aspiring artist is make sure this is what you want. It’s a long lonely dark path to success that requires 110% of your time and energy.

But if this is what you want work hard be consistent, don’t be afraid to step outside the box, and don’t ever stop pushing.
