Mindblowing Moments From Tribeca Festival 2022
The Tribeca Festival, presented by AT&T, brings visionaries and diverse audiences together to celebrate storytelling in all its forms, including film, TV, VR, gaming, music, and online work. Founded by Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal, the Festival champions emerging and established voices through premieres, exhibitions, talks, and live performances.
Al Pacino attended a special 50th-anniversary screening of The Godfather at United Palace theater. Introduced by good friend Robert De Niro, Pacino participated in a Q&A about the iconic film with moderator, Air Mail’s Michael Hainey.
Another reunion took place at SVA with the cast and crew of Eve’s Bayou, including the film’s star Lynn Whitfield, director Kasi Lemmons, and special guest Jurnee Smollet.
Phil Rosenthal participated in a “Storytellers” conversation over at SVA, with moderator and comedian Alex Edelman.
Downtown at BMCC, W. Kamau Bell, Alonzo Bodden, Rain Prior, and others gathered for Right to Offend: The Black Comedy Revolution – Part 1 moderated by Janine Rubenstein. Sigourney Weaver attended the screening of The Good House.
