Teen rapper/influencer Brooklyn Queen is no novice to the limelight. At the prepubescent age of 10, she hit the music scene with the viral hit “Keke Taught Me”, followed by other hits that catapulted her into superstardom. Widely known for her fiery unapologetic lyricism, the young talent also stars in the popular YouTube series “Charmers” and boasts brand partnerships with many global companies.

New York Times has dubbed her ‘The Queen of The Internet’ as she entertained over 13 million followers across multiple social media platforms virtually when the world shut down during the COVID-19 quarantine.

But success doesn’t come without stressors. As a teen star, Brooklyn is a champion for destigmatizing the mental health struggles of her peers, as she leads a very unorthodox life as a teen girl. While she loves and appreciates her life in the spotlight, she has also experienced issues that she fights through daily.

To combat the immense pressure to stay connected to social media, she shares three ways she de-stresses and maintains positive mental health.

1)   Putting away devices and phones to spend uninterrupted time with family.

2)   Taking personal time for oneself by working on self-care, including cooking and workout.

3) Binge-watching her favorite tv shows, specifically “CW’s All American”.

Brooklyn reminds her audience that social media is often a reel of life’s best bits – attention-grabbing and carefully edited. As an advocate for positive mental health, she consistently promotes positive body image and encourages fans, followers, and listeners to seek help when needed. The multi-talented Brooklyn Queen recently dropped her latest single;  Big Talker” (BMB Entertainment) produced by Jupiter. Available now on all streaming platforms.
