Master Cosmetologist Briana Hickman is the owner of B. Xquisit, LLC and B. Xquisit Cares, INC. She is preparing to launch a NEW experience called “The Beauty Lounge” which is a 3D Activation model and suite-style pop-up.
The Beauty Lounge is perfect for multi-day events and full-day production experiences such as photo and video shoots or TV/Film projects.
Briana’s main mission is to continue to provide top-quality products and elite-level services to her clientele, as well as to continue to raise the bar and take the Beauty realm to the next level!

We are excited to hear about The Beauty Lounge. What can you tell us about it?
Briana Hickman: Thank you! I’m really excited also! We are preparing to launch a NEW experience called “The Beauty Lounge” which is a 3D Activation model and suite-style pop-up, that will offer the liveability for women to have hair and makeup maintained throughout elite events and presentations. Women will be able to receive touch-ups, and light styling and will be able to receive deals on future appointments, products, and memberships for “The Beauty Lounge”.

What can clients experience at B. Xquisit Studios?
Briana Hickman: Our guests at B. Xquisit Studios will experience a team of friendly professionals that provide hair, makeup, waxing hair removal, along with extensions and professional products for purchase to take home.
What defines beauty from your perspective?
Briana Hickman: From my perspective, Beauty comes from within, but we must still take pride in maintaining the visual side of that beauty. Your physical appearance has a big effect on how we feel and how we feel has a big effect on how we look.
What do you enjoy most about the work that you do?
Briana Hickman: As a salon owner, I enjoy helping people solve issues and reach goals the most. It is very satisfying for me to watch people grow.
As a Master Cosmetologist, I enjoy being a part of the transformation.
What else would you like our readers to know about you?
Briana Hickman: I would love readers to know that I am an advocate for investing in real estate and I encourage everyone to look into it to see if it’s right for them.
Any beauty tips you have for the remainder of the summer?
Briana Hickman: Since summer is coming to an end, my biggest tip would be to Start thinking about what you would like to try for fall and the holidays and start the discussion with your hair care professional about your goals. Therefore you are able to come up with a plan, especially if you are wanting to try certain colors on your natural hair.
What advice would you have for aspiring beauty industry entrepreneurs?
Briana Hickman: I recommend putting a good amount of time into researching how to run your business. Even if you are on commission, how you handle your business, (finances and communication), will have a lot to do with your retention in this industry.
