How to Celebrate Christmas Solo
Though it would be nice to be with family and friends during the holidays, it is not always possible. But don’t let that stop you from enjoying the day.
Here are five ways to celebrate:
Remember the Reason for the Season
It can become easy to get consumed in the hype of the holiday season. In a time when you’re by yourself, reflect on a time giving changed your life.
Watch the Christmas Parade
Join thousands of viewers in the enjoyment of the Disney Parks Christmas Parade. Laugh, dance, sing, and even cry if you must as you take in this day with fresh hope, fresh love, and a fresh outlook.
You Still Gotta Eat
Now if you already have food in your pantry, that is golden. Use the products and make you breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner and make it special with candles and more festive decor. It doesn’t have to be the traditional holiday food. But if you prefer the Christmas dinner, you have 2 options. Search for stores open in your area to get the last minute ingredients. Or head to a restaurant.
Go to a Holiday Festival
This sounds very much like a small town ordeal, but it’s not (but if you’re up for a road trip, who is going to stop you?)There are festivals of lights and much more. Go enjoy the festivities of the season and own doing it alone. Make it a solo date.
Watch A Movie
Grab you the fanciest cocoa, some popcorn, candy canes, and your fav holiday cheer movie (or book if you prefer that route) and just relax. You have permission to not do much today.
Whatever you choose to do, make it a great Christmas.
