DJ Cassidy’s “Pass The Mic” Returns with Busta Rhymes, Remy Ma, Warren G + More!

BET announced the return of DJ Cassidy’s critically acclaimed, groundbreaking series “Pass The Mic” with a lineup of heavy hitters. “DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic: BET Hip Hop Awards Edition” premieres Tuesday, October 4, at 11:30 PM ET/PT following “BET Hip Hop Awards” 2022.

On the BET series finale, DJ Cassidy will celebrate the most influential artists and records that helped transformed Hip Hop into a global cultural force. The special will feature twenty iconic Hip Hop superstars from New York to Los Angeles, including Busta Rhymes, Ghostface Killah, Ice Cube, Jadakiss, Method Man, Redman, Raekwon, Remy Ma, RZA, Styles P, Swizz Beatz, Too $hort, Xzibit, Warren G, and more. Ten episodes, 220 icons, and 166 hits later, “DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic: BET Hip Hop Awards Edition” 2022 is the ultimate culmination.

“When I created “Pass The Mic” in July 2020 I sought to celebrate our everyday heroes by uniting my musical heroes in the greatest singalong of all time,” said DJ Cassidy. “Millions of people around the globe have now united around the most iconic artists and songs of all time to pass the mic in unison. I am so honored to be celebrating my Hip Hop heroes in this final edition of the series.”
