CultureFest

The Hustle and Soul Culture Fest is known as the gathering spot for the African American culture. It is an annual festival dedicated to celebrating diversity, culture, and connecting with who we truly are.
.
At CultureFest we will be promoting the importance of HBCU enrollment within the African American community. Focusing on embracing our cultural diversity rather than shying away from it. Our community is unaware that many HBCU’s struggle with enrollment and retention; which is due to the media constantly reflecting these colleges/universities as an inferior option. Though they fought tirelessly to remain open, there are HBCU’s that have closed due to low enrollment. As a community we must band together to promote our schools to prevent any additional HBCU from having this fate. The CultureFest tour will represent HBCU’s in a scintillating fashion, aiming to bring back the honor that once surrounded going to an HBCU.
.
Hustle & Soul CultureFest is a new experience coming to HBCUs across the nation, a one day College Culture Festival that will celebrate our culture with Food, Art & Music. This will be a unique day that celebrates all genres of Arts, Culture and Music. Our goal is to make the culture more visible as a creative innovative where ideas emerge and a number of creative initiatives to include promoting enrollment in HBCU colleges & universities, raising funds to provide for more scholarship opportunities to HBCU colleges & universities and our voting campaign called #RaiseYourVoice. We all know event experiences are excellent opportunities to produce social bonds & sow seeds for long rewarding contributions to what we call our culture. We are aiming to mobilize support and involvement in the community to promote the HBCU legacy and our right to be heard, creating experiences through Food, Art, and Music. Music is a universal language that reflects creativity & represents today’s modern diversity. The tour will hit 10 HBCU cities across the South Eastern Region with plans for expansion to other cities.
.
CultureFest would like to serve as a platform for local independent entertainers to perform musical performances in front of the HBCU community.
.
Our company goal is to create experiences for people to remember. Providing creative cutting edge events through stellar service, Celebrities, Trendsetters, Influencers, all while producing high quality events. CultureFest will aim to act as a dynamic force behind cultural innovation and social bonding, while bringing support to an underrepresented community.
